Easter Eggs-travaganza a huge hit!

What a great day on the rails we had for the Easter Eggs-travaganza, on April 8.  Our SOLD OUT day began at 2pm with crafts, games, real bunnies, face painting and balloon animals at the “Station.”  We then jumped on the train and traveled 1/2 hour from Forestburg to Galahad.  While onboard, we had “bunny food” (veggies and dip) and practiced a song called the Bunny Rabbit Boogie, in hopes of being able to persuade a very shy Easter Bunny to tell us where he had hidden his eggs.  Once we all got off the train, we sang that song again and the Easter Bunny really appeared and led us 2 blocks down Main Street Galahad to the Galahad Care Centre, where we waved at the Gramma and Grandpa’s and hunted for eggs.  The Easter Bunny gave lots of high fives and hugs.  We then boarded the train back to Forestburg.  We relaxed and ate “Bunny Chow.”  When we arrived, the Easter Bunny was at the “Station” and everyone was able to get a picture.  It was a another fabulous days on the rails in rural Alberta!

We are hiring!
